Event Description

Global Trends in Playground Benefits - urbanized children, nature play and inclusive design

Join Jeanette Fich Jespersen, Manager of the KOMPAN Play Institute, for an overview of the global trends affecting our children’s health, social inclusion and learning. All of these trends affect the way we consider and plan playgrounds. The role of the playground is undergoing a transition and we will take a glance at the varied relevant success criteria to the successful play area. Additionally we will have a closer look at new research in the field of play sustained child development, health promoting playgrounds, play for all and universal playground design and, not least, natural playgrounds.

Earn Continuing Education Credits at this LA CES approved event.
