The 60-minute webinar will examine the broad issue of site sustainability and discuss the potential of small-scale sites and residential landscapes to improve ecosystem function and benefit human health and well-being.

Attendees will learn:

  • How to use vegetation to maximize site performance and ecosystem service benefits
  • Strategies for designing and maintaining resilient landscapes
  • Low impact development and other sustainable water approaches
  • Soil stewardship and restoration strategies

About Heather Venhaus

Using her background in landscape architecture and ecological restoration, Heather Venhaus works with teams of scientist, designers and educators to develop sustainable and regenerative design solutions. Ms. Venhaus facilitated and led the development of The Sustainable Sites Initiative: Guidelines and Performance Benchmarks 2009 and is author of Sustainable Site Design: Integrated Design Strategies for Small Scale Sites and Residential Landscapes. Heather is the founding principal of Regenerative Environmental Design and lives in Austin, Texas.

Driveway Grades Between Two Story Self Storage Buildings 1 Reply

Hi!Anyone know the maximum grade that would work between self storage buildings with a basement. Buildings are 65' to 75' wide, upper story and a basement story, 10' ceilings. Uhaul and Ryder trucks will need to negotiate slopes without scraping.Continue
