New Trends in 2D/3D Visualization
Due to the positive response to the series of drawing webinars presented by Jim Leggitt, FAIA in late 2010, we are announcing a new series of four webinars on the subject of design visualization that integrate traditional hand drawing methods with digital graphics. Jim named this hybrid technique “Tradigital Drawing” and has developed four exciting lectures on the subject of design communication with both 2D and 3D images. The 4-week series will begin on Wednesday April 6, 2011 at 6pm PST and repeat every Wednesday for the next three consecutive Wednesdays.
Each 60-minute webinar will show numerous examples from landscape, architectural and planning projects and may include video clips that reinforce specific visualization methods. The four webinar topics are as follows:
Session 1: Drawing Tools, Types and Techniques - April 6, 2011
Session 2: Perspective Strategies and Drawing Composition - April 13, 2011
Session 3: Entourage: Drawing People, Landscape and More - April 20, 2011
Session 4: Overlay and Composite Drawing Methods - April 27, 2011
(We will donate 10% of total ticket sales to the disaster relief efforts in Japan.)
NOTES: There is no limit to the number of participants. Registration covers all sessions. No individual sessions will be sold. See registration page for FAQ.
