Students will complete timed problems covering basic skills required in planning and site design. Lectures on topics tested by the exam and encountered in professional practice will be given each day. The class takes a programmed approach to Section C, covering basic concepts and developing each subset of this section through lecture, discussion, and solving full vignette problems typical of those encountered on the LARE.

Class pin ups of a number of the vignettes may be done and solutions and issues discussed. Question and answer sessions will follow each work period. Desk crits while working are part of the class. A 90 page syllabus and  21 vignettes will be given out.

Instructor: Ray Freeman, of Freeman and Jewell Landscape Architecture. He has taught LARE review sessions since 2000. Over the past two years, 82 of 86 of Ray’s students sitting for section C have passed.
