Event Description

Utilizing Geographic Information System (GIS) data allows designers to make important decisions based on the environmental conditions of the design site. By importing GIS information into the Vectorworks Landmark 2012 software, designers are able to display data in a quick and visually powerful way. In this presentation, you will learn how GIS data directly impacted the developmental decisions of a historic site in Massachusetts.

Participants attending this webinar will:
• Learn about GIS and how to access GIS Files
• Explore how GIS files can be imported and managed in the Vectorworks Landmark 2012 software
• Become aware of how to recognize and show data contained within GIS files
• Discover how to present the information found through analyzing GIS data
