I agree with Mr. Halprin, and will refer  people to a famous (and huge) one at the Hotel Del Coronado in California.

I saw that one at the hotel Del C.  Its beautiful!  I was going to guess that this was on the island of Socotra, also a Yemeni island.  Its known for unusual flora and fauna.
