Henry:

Thank you for this. I have always been a great admirer of Laurie Olin. His collaborative work with Zimmer Gunsel Frasca (ZGF) on Directors Plaza in Portland Oregon was a royal success and addition to a city with a legacy of great public spaces. It is now one more civic treasure.

Glad you enjoyed the interview. His firm is an important part of the profession, it's good to know how he thinks.

Yes, thanks Henry - always interested in Laurie Olin, and miss his taskmaster cohort Bob Hanna, he was great to have as a professor, but always with the cigarettes, of course. I love Bryant Park, but I do remember Laurie Olin talking at Penn about Canary Wharf in London - "We are there to fill the space between the buildings" he told us - I think he has evolved his talking points since then, judging by this interview..
