Comment by Audra Lofton on May 31, 2012 at 7:10am Miller Landscape is currently seeking an entry-level landscape architect to assist our current design and sales team. Job responsibilities for this position include:
- Meeting with clients to assess their landscape needs
- Conducting site inventory and analysis
- Creating presentation graphics to illustrate design proposals to clients
- Supplying clients with detailed estimates of proposed work
- Working with local government agencies to acquire permits when necessary
Requirements for candidates include:
- BLA from an accredited landscape architecture program
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and hand graphics
- Working knowledge of local plant material
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to create and maintain strong client relationships

Laborers pay rate is $ 8.50 to $ 10.00 an hour; Lead Techs payrate is $ 10.00 to $ 12.00 an hour; Supervisors salary from $25,000 to $35,000 a year. This Job fair is open to public. Once you pass the three rounds of interviews you will be hired to start to work on June 4th. Applicants must pass a drug test and EVerify. Please bring in a copy of a picture ID & Social Security card the day of the job fair.

Land Plus Associates specializes in high-end residential design and master-planned residential communities in Atlanta and throughout the southeast for over 26 years. This position requires a BLA in addition to a finely-honed design aesthetic, strong emphasis on construction detail, strong technical skills, and knowledge of landscape construction and plant material. Tasks include fieldwork, conceptual design development, presentation, estimating, renderings, construction documents/management, and client coordination.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Candidates will possess strong computer skills in order to prepare and modify landscape architecture and planning documents. Along with freehand sketching and rendering talent, an individual must have a strong understanding and commitment to the design process from conceptual site planning through construction documents/administration and have demonstrated an ability to negotiate questions with solutions utilizing established standards.

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, self-starting designers with strong design and graphic abilities. Excellent oral and written communication skills are a must for daily interaction with clients and contractors. Ability to work in a team environment is required for inter-office communication and collaboration with outside consultants. Applicants should know how to manage projects from design through construction administration. Applicants should have 3-5 years experience.
