Landscape Architecture Project Manager (5 years’ experience)
Santa Cruz, CA
Full-Time

Joni L. Janecki & Associates, Inc. is seeking a full-time permanent Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the field. We are a well-established landscape architecture firm in Santa Cruz, California with an emphasis on sustainable design. We work on a variety of small and large-scale projects including campus planning, educational gardens, placemaking efforts, urban master planning and public spaces, and residential. As a full-service design firm, we develop projects from schematic level through construction documents and construction administration.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience in concept/design development, planning, and site development.
Experience preparing and coordinating construction documents and cost estimating, plus following through to construction and site observation.
Proficiency in current AutoCAD and Adobe Design Suite CS6 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Drawing and hand drafting skills - ability to render ideas and design concepts visually. Knowledge of irrigation design.
BS and/or MA/MLA in Landscape Architecture or related field.

Other Desirable Qualities:

Knowledge of plants, including California natives, and landscape materials.
Experience achieving LEED certification and working with sustainable materials.
Strong written and verbal presentation skills.
Experience creating professional presentation documents.
Experience creating and packaging master planning concepts and drawings.
Experience handling a project budget, familiarity with construction materials and resources, and ability to develop creative and innovative solutions to problems.
Detail, deadline, and multi-task oriented.
Strong collaborative, communication, and time management skills.

Driveway Grades Between Two Story Self Storage Buildings 1 Reply
