Landscape Draftsperson / Design Associate, Entry Level (1-3 years' experience)
Santa Cruz, CA

Joni L. Janecki & Associates, Inc., a landscape architecture design firm located in Santa Cruz, California, is seeking a full-time Draftsperson / Design Associate with 1-3 years office experience. Our diverse projects include campus planning, urban design and public spaces, and small/large-scale residential design. We offer competitive compensation, investment plans, and benefits. Landscape Architecture background is preferable, but candidates from related design fields are welcome.


Draft plans and details accurately and efficiently.
Produce design studies and image sheets.
Assist project managers, principals, and designers in completing design packages.
Participate in office culture of collaboration and teamwork.

Basic Qualifications:

Full proficiency in current AutoCAD.
Fluency in Adobe Design Suite CS6 (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
Proficiency in Sketch-up or other 3-D modeling programs.
BS and/or MA in Landscape Architecture or related field.

Other Desirable Qualities:

Ability to sketch, develop design studies, and complete graphic illustrations.
Good team collaboration and strong communication and time management skills.
Detail, deadline, and multi-task oriented.

Driveway Grades Between Two Story Self Storage Buildings 1 Reply
