Landscape Architect/Designer, Entry Level to 3 Years' Experience
Annandale, VA
Full-Time

Urban, Ltd. (www.urban-ltd.com) seeks a landscape architect/designer with one to three years' experience to work in their Annandale, VA office. Urban is an industry leading firm in land development in the region, and provides a comfortable environment, competitive pay, great benefits and career advancement opportunities.

Candidates should:
-possess an accredited degree in Landscape Architecture
-have strong, creative design and good graphic production skills
-demonstrate experience with preparation of hardscape and landscape plans for rezoning, site plan and construction documents
-have technical knowledge of landscape architectural construction including codes and development regulations
-have good working knowledge of landscape and native plants in the Mid-Atlantic region
-be proficient with AutoCad, Photoshop, Indesign, Sketchup and MS Office
-have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-be team player able to contribute and work in a collaborative environment

These additional skills and qualifications are desired, but not required:
-experience with Northern Virginia area jurisdictions
-project management experience
-possess a valid landscape architecture license, Virginia preferred
-ISA Arborist Certification

Driveway Grades Between Two Story Self Storage Buildings 1 Reply

Hi!Anyone know the maximum grade that would work between self storage buildings with a basement. Buildings are 65' to 75' wide, upper story and a basement story, 10' ceilings. Uhaul and Ryder trucks will need to negotiate slopes without scraping.Continue
