Senior Landscape Architect
Dallas, TX

TBG Partners is seeking a Landscape Architect in our Dallas, Texas office to work on a variety of projects. The selected candidate will work with a team of urban designers, landscape architects and planners to design livable environments for both public and private sector clients. Our designs express much more than a lasting first impression: each element, from iconic landmarks to the smallest of details, is tailored to tell a unique and unifying story. We believe great design can provide an extraordinary backdrop against which life’s memories unfold. In each project, we tell a unique story inspired by our passion for creating unforgettable places that connect people and nature while expressing the story in each detail. The candidate should be able to critically think of ways to define user experiences to create memorable places.


* Responsible for creating and planning the conceptual design of project or major portions of project
* Responsible for mentoring younger designers and staff through the design process
* Lead design process by generating the concepts
* Makes client presentations without supervision
* Works closely with clients to capture client’s thoughts and concepts for project
* Lead team of junior level designers
* Coordinate with consultants and teammates throughout project

* Bachelor’s degree or higher in urban design, landscape architecture or architecture
* 7+ years related work experience
* Landscape Architectural Registration
* Sustainable design experience
* Strong graphic skills including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Illustrator, PhotoShop and InDesign
* Experience with MS office including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
* Experience with public and private sector organizations
* Design Experience including International resort, high-rise commercial office buildings, corporate campuses and high-rise residential is a plus
* Ability to collaborate with diverse groups of people and on various teams
* Possess solid written communication skills
* Comfort in speaking in public meetings and to small groups
* Ability to think critically, communicate effectively and produce high quality work

Driveway Grades Between Two Story Self Storage Buildings 1 Reply

Hi!Anyone know the maximum grade that would work between self storage buildings with a basement. Buildings are 65' to 75' wide, upper story and a basement story, 10' ceilings. Uhaul and Ryder trucks will need to negotiate slopes without scraping.Continue
