PGA worked with structural and waterproofing engineers to improve the sightlines, security and sustainability of a multi-level plaza in San Francisco. The design included plant species suitable for extreme conditions of wind and fog, as well as windscreens and site features that will improve the park’s appeal.

The plaza needed additional work because of leaking issues into the garage below, and PGA stepped in to resolve those issues and do the re-design.
I believe that people don't congregate there much is because the site is extremely windy. One of our people once got sprayed with coffee walking thirty feet behind someone else (drinking coffee) along the street.
Comment by Albert C on August 17, 2012 at 10:01am Context, context, context, no one uses that space because your under 24 hour surveillance. The neighborhood surrounding this building is sketchy at best. All the hard sharp lines is meant to keep people moving, don't settle. Pretty PGA wasn't the original designers, cant remember who was.
