As a 1968 Graduate of Richardson High School in Richardson, Texas (located on the North edge of Dallas, Texas).....I am still VERY LOYAL to my High School...even now, 49 years after graduation.

As one of 2 male Cheerleaders on our Cheerleading Squad of (8)....My Senior Yr. was very memorable!  Hey.....when you get to have P.E. class with the female Cheerleaders and the entire Drill's all good *smile*.

The EAGLES monument (pictured above) was originally built by the KEY CLUB in 1967 (which I was a member)....and I actively participated in the construction and planting process. of my very first landscape projects.  Back then, the letters were "grass".

Over the years, this EAGLES monument began to look really BAD...someone replaced the grass with low shrubs, so, you couldn't even read the letters....the word EAGLES.

So, I joined with about 9 members of the RHS Class of 1969.....and together....we brought this EAGLE monument (tradition) back to life....back in May 2016.  Instead of grass, we planted Dwarf Monkey Grass.  Since this photo was taken, the High School has planted solid sod St. Augustine around the entire area.  Looks GREAT now!

Of course, this was a Pro Bono project on my part.  The RHS Class of 1969 asked me to advise the on how best to refurbish this "landscape" oriented monument.....and I was only too happy to help.

New Jobs!
