The High-line by Field Operations as well as Fresh Kills by the same designer (James Corner) are aslo interesting projects especially in dealing with brownfield sites. Peter Latz also integrates the notion of allowing nature to get a "foothold" in his projects and allow it to take over in a way. I am particularly intersted in succesion in an urban environment and how integrates with human activity. Also on a romatic level of the ruin becoming a host to life.
Ryan,
Thanks, I went to La Vilette in 1993 and as so overwhelmed that I can't remember much of the detail. Will have to revisit I guess.
Ciao for now.
