Portland is certainly a "like minded" kind of city. There are some great L.A. firms in Portland as well as in Seattle.

I'm originally from Tx as well, and I think the Pacific NW is a special place. Give Steve Koch a try too. He does great work. www.kochla.com

Brittany- Portland is great, job market not so great. But that's anywhere USA. I actually need to update my info. because I moved back to Austin last year. You might want to give Blair Didway a call and introduce yourself. He's a great guy and might be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck....

I took Richard Scott's travel sketching workshop in San Francisco last May. I liked it and over the weekend I became much more comfortable with sketching in pen and with the basics of watercolors. He shows you how to set-up for outdoor watercolor sketching. The majority of the class were not in the design profession, but it was interesting to interact with them and some had good questions.

I'd say it was worth the time and money.

Hey congrats on passing the leed. What did you think of it and how much time did you spend getting prepared? I'm scheduled to take it on the 20th of march, but I'm renovating a house right now and feel like I have not been spending enough time studying.

Thanks

Oh, well thanks anyway. Did you happen to visit Turenscapes while in China? Did you like the experience? I'm exploring overseas possibilities. Thanks!
