Writing Britain

Dear Readers,This "Writing Britain" exhibit is about landscape.  It is an exploration of the roots of landscape culture, the roots of our landscape profession.  11May-25Sept2012 at the British Library, London."From William Blake to the 21st-century suburban hinterlands of J G Ballard, Writing Britain examines how the landscapes of Britain permeate great literary works. Thomas Kinkade, landscape painter, has passed away.  Looking at his work I wonder, just exactly where the vision of a painter and the practice of landscape architecture share some ground?  Comments?…

Seeking Job

Posted on November 30, 2008 at 5:36pm 5 Comments

I am in Dubai and seeking a landscape related job.

I've been here just over two years; and from all I have seen and heard these last 5 weeks, I think the real estate storm is about to crash on Dubai, big time.

So maybe, I should write, seeking a landscape related job anywhere!

Any offer considered.

Thank you.

I have not implemented the multi-user aspect of the software yet but they provide an example project to get started on it. I believe you can also do it through the web browser and not just the standalone. The great thing about it is you can do as much as you want with the software. I plan on looking more at the implications for this tool in design education and what you suggested would be one of the aspects I would explore.
