hi eric. yes, juan almansa emailed me and we discussed things over the phone.  he was very helpful.  so far i've downloaded the 30 day free trial so i'll be burning the midnight oil working on that.  i would like to schedule a webinar and i see there are several available in the near future.  just need a week or so to wrap my head around the basics!  thanks for your help.  jen

hi eric - i am considering purchasing Landmark.  currently i use autosketch on my PC and would really prefer to work on my Mac and learn 3D as well. i posted a question on the technology thread about the graphics requirements.  i was told by vectorworks that 256MB would be enough (which is what i have on my imac) but i just really need to make sure since i heard it's quite expensive to upgrade Vcards.  if you don't mind, could you let me know what you think.  i have plenty of RAM and a 3.06Ghz processor.  thank you in advance....jen

Eric, of course I don't mind you asking. I really wish I had a great story for those Pics, but I don't. I found them somewhere on the web years ago. Great example of poor engineering.

I would have loved to have been there when someone tried to go up or down in a car.

If you would like to copy them and show them around, be my guest. Good conversation starters.

Eric, I didn't want to be redundant on the page, so here goes. Blue screen of death started popping up after years, the graphics seem so much clearer(this is from having Safari on my machine), don't like that I can't get rid of IE, don't use it, imposition of the security alerts, even when they're turned off and the price of updating my OS. I've been using XP for years and am happy with it. And most importantly, it's just time for a change, been using PC's since the mid 80's. I think it's time I get out of the rut.

I'm looking at the Mac Mini.

Hey Eric, terrific presentation at the ASLA Annual Meeting. I really enjoyed attending the digital alphebet soup presentation. Two questions I noticed that one of the underlying themes to the presentation was compatibility of softwares to create documents that are workable in different venues. Do you have any information or experience with about a pdf. to dwf. converter for a 64 bit pc? I am having trouble finding a converter and one of my clients needs dwfs. I used to run a 32 bit computer and found a pdf. to dwf. converter for it that worked but now I have a 64 bit computer and the converter will not work any longer and gives me a message that the converter is not compatible with a 64 bit computer. Second what was the converter that James Sipes recommended as a good one for most any platforms?

Hi Eric. Thanks for the comment. So, you did some of that overlay work too? I'm using an ACAD base with Adobe Suite (mainly Illustrator, but also PS and ID), over a good aerial photo. Do you have some work to look at?
