Hey Carmen,

Schools going pretty good. I am trying to nail down my thesis question right now. I don't know if you got this done yet, but I am finding it to be rather difficult. My area of interest is getting smaller, which is good and I'm reading a lot. I am looking for visual inspiration as well, so I am going to London and Amsterdam over spring break to look at some urban landscape projects....and drink.....and go out every night.

I am getting my portfolio together in my spare time. It is a pain in the ass. Several firms in the Portland area are not doing internships this summer or haven't decided yet. I'm going their for the summer regardless, so I will figure something out. Portland Metro council does a lot of community development projects related to landscape design so I may look at public service for the summer. How is your job search going? Two of the grad students here are done this semester and the outlook for them has not been good.

I am glad things are going well for you...enjoy One World. I'm sure I will see you their eventually. Take care
