Hi Keith, My name is Chris Brown and im currently enrolled at the young scholars program at the University of Maryland for landscape architecture and i was woundering if you could answer a few questions for me. I would really like to hear about this line of work from someone out in this feild of work and i would really appreaciate it if you were the one to do so. Thanks so much for your time and consideration and I hope to be hearing from you soon !! sincerely, Chris Brown (a fellow californian )
My name is Bill Joyce and I'm a Landscape Architect at Isabelle Greene and Assoc, Inc. I am moving to San Diego next month (potentially creating a satellite office for Isabelle or starting my own design studio) and could use some helpful advice on the area if you have time and are willing. Great Photos! Best,
Thanks for responding. I was in email contact with Richard and got his c.v. for NCSU's landscape architect project. Did you happen to go to NCSU School of Design when Richard was on faculty and head of dept? Have you in mind a particular Richard Moore project that you think needs to be mentioned for the record?
I am working with NC State University's Special Collections Dept on a project called the Lewis Clarke Collection. I notice that you have listed Richard A. Moore as your favorite LA. We are trying to put together a few paragraphs on Moore for our index of people who were on the faculty of the School (now College) of Design. I was wondering, IF we are talking about the same Richard Moore, if you have a favorite Richard A. Moore project you'd like to point us toward.
I am excited to learn more about the book you are working on - sounds like there will be quite a bit of interest in it. I've heard before that recessions spawn new businesses -- I hope it is true as we can use more L.Arch-lead firms. Will you be attending the ASLA Annual meeting in Chicago? I've been able to arrange a book signing at LAF's booth in the Expo for Sunday afternoon-- would be nice to meet you!
