"By the way - I would stay away from foam core - it can be SO hard to make it look clean and precise. Plus, it also tends to look heavy. If you do choose it, go for the thinnest size you can get."

"Depends on the scale and caliber of work:  Rhino (VRay,Maxwell,Grasshopper), AutoCAD, Revit, Microstation. I'd assume FO uses a fair amount of Rhino - look at Penn student work; or better yet their job postings in the past."

Landscape architecture, architecture, and planning should act as a whole entity striving to practice for a single common goal: healing the environment. This environment is not just the quintessential “nature” depicted by extravagantly pastoral scenes in a country meadow or the dense forest full of wild, native vegetation, but it's our cultural, social, political and economic web of inter-relationships. Think of an environment focused on what should be the building blocks of our ecology: the landscape. That's what I strive for.

If I were to grab a handful sand right now, I would ponder the following:

Why isn't phonetic spelled the way it sounds?  Is there another word for thesaurus?  If white wine goes with fish, do white grapes go with sushi?  Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?
