About Mark Talarico:

Intro

Built upon an education in landscape architecture and Social Science, Mark Talarico has over Seven years of professional experience in environmental planning and design.  Past project involvement has been diverse, ranging from open space planning and design to residential and commercial development to urban design. He has a thorough hands-on understanding of construction, and has overseen the successful implementation of a wide variety of projects.

 

For the past four years, Mark has focused on assisting in areas of native landscape design, passive recreation design, restoration and management of natural areas, best management practices for stormwater management, wetland mitigation, and soil bioengineering.  He has experience conducting field surveys such as wetland delineations, tree surveys, and vegetation inventories.  Mark has extensive experience preparing landscape and irrigation construction drawings, irrigation system calculation for water scheduling and usage, construction cost estimates and writing project specific specifications.

 

Body of Work

Mark Talarico has professional experience working for a variety of private and municipal clients on various project types including regional parks, neighborhood parks, recreational trails, private residences, residential subdivisions, commercial buildings, institutional projects, urban design work, transportation work, restoration and mitigation work. Mark’s experience includes managing staff and coordinating design with other related professionals to develop the completed product and then shadow the project through the agency approval process.
