Matt Sickle is a Landscape Designer at Michael Vergason Landscape Architects in Alexandria, VA. His primary projects are academic and institutional landscapes with a focus on horticulture and sustainability. He is currently working on the design of a memorial, on private academic campuses, and on a "complete streets" master plan.
As a graduate student, Matt was on the University of Maryland’s winning 2011 Solar Decathlon team, and was a national finalist in the ULI/Hines Student Urban Design Competition. He earned his Master of Landscape Architecture from UMD in 2012.
