"I prefer prismacolor markers.....they do not dissolve the toner off of copied paper. the chartpak markers were better for blue/blackline diazo copies. go boilers"

"I use prismacolor art stix (same medium as a pencel, but in square sticks). They are incredibly fast and forgiving. You can really "wash" large areas in a hurry, and they blend well without getting muddy. They last forever too."

Hey everyone i am a freshman at Purdue University in the LA program and i was looking for any tips on rendering, mostly how to get some effects like a solid blend out of a marker or if you know any resources i could look at to help me out. if anyone has any advice, i would love to hear what you can share.
