"Yeah. Because being homeless is so awesome, who wouldn't want to stay homeless for a free sandwich every day? Personally, I just love sleeping in a bleach-smelling cell with a plastic mattress and thin holey blankets. Its totally worth it even…"

Craig Anthony replied to Ryan Sand's discussion 'Homelessness'
"Yeah the best way to deal with homeless people in our public space is to not provide them with places to rest their bones. It doesn’t matter if the tax paying public ends up with crappy public space - just keep those people moving.  If a…"

Hey Ryan!

Would it be possible to get some photos from the summer watercolors studio? My camera broke during the trip so I'm missing a lot.

hey Ryan... thanks for the comment on my thesis project and sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. A main recurring question I had over the course of the year was how important is it for us as LAs to show people processes in the landscape? I had trouble making the spaces that dealt with remediation (water or soil) really speak to the process of cleansing. Phytoremediation is invisible... so can we make that process visible?

that's great you'll be using phytoremediation in your project... any idea where or what type of brownfield your site is going to be?
