Torsanlorenzo Gruppo Florovivaistico, European Leader in the nursery sector, is a Group of sixteen firms set up starting from 1978. They are located mainly in the center and the south of Italy but also in Northern Europe, United Arab Emirates and South Africa.

This internationalization is the symbol of a company that, despite the current period of  crisis, has succeded in reacting against the trend, diversifying production and and opening up the search for new markets.

The group employs approximately 500 people and can count on 5.700 species of plants distributed over a total of 650 hectares for production. This diversification is made possible by the agronomic research and the territotial location of the nurseries situated in places different from a microclimatic point of view.

A significant strong point is represented by the great ability of the logistic sector to serve customers promptly, all over the world, guaranteeing quantity, quality and price.

The reference sector range over the entire chain: from garden center to the large scale retail trade, from nurserymen to landscape gardener including large supplies for contractors and important public and private works.

Together with the institutional mission - producing and selling plants -  the Group has always been involved in the diffusion of a green culture through sector studies and contributions to research institutes. With the same purpose, spreading the value of green, the nursery promotes an important cultural operation " The Torsanlorenzo International Prize" thought for landscape architects and professionals who all over the world have realised important landscape requalification and valorization projects.

Along with this award, in recognition of the creativity of landscaping professionals, the "Prestige Prize" is given to personalities who have contributed to arise citizens awareness promoting territorial and environmental policies.
