About
Currently based in Dubai since 2014, I am working on predominantly Urban Landscape projects along with some residential communities, street-scaping, open space/ park design.

The experience here has been rewarding in terms of the scale and the typology of projects. It has been a good exposure getting acquainted with the cultural context and the region specific issues which play an important part in design. Also being a part of a multi-disciplinary MNC is an experience in itself regarding the corporate work environment and international exposure.

Prior to this, I was practicing for three years after and for one year before Masters in the Landscape field in India. The projects that I had worked on vary in scale and typologies, from single family residential houses, residential communities, schools, universities, hospitals, software parks and ecological resorts to terrace gardens and interior landscaping.

I have also worked in architecture studios and an urban design practice while studying bachelors in architecture and during the practical training respectively, contributing to about 1.5 years of experience (both full time and part time put together).

I am motivated to improve the quality of life of people through my work and do my bit in advancing the profession and making it relevant to the society at large.

My spheres of interest include Urban Landscape and Landscape Planning. Landscape restoration of degraded sites is another area that is very interesting and the one area of Landscape that is close to heart is Urban Agriculture, about which I am motivated to explore and learn more.

I am looking forward to work on landscape projects where Landscape Design plays the central role in the projects like resorts/ parks, ecological projects, Urban Public spaces.

My objective is to work with a studio which is purely into landscape design and work on projects with such a context that they go on to become intrinsic part of peoples lives!
