The Landscape Institute, the Mayor of London and the Garden Museum are hosting an open ideas competition, to design innovative new places that enrich London’s Green Infrastructure. Entries will be judged by a panel of experts including the founders of New York’s High Line - a public park created on a 1.45 mile-long elevated rail structure in the heart of Manhattan.
The winners will be announced by Mayor of London Boris Johnson as part of the High Line Symposium taking place at the Garden Museum from 5-8 October 2012. Shortlisted entries will be displayed at the Garden Museum and featured in the LI's journal 'Landscape', and each shortlisted entrant/team will receive a free ticket to the Symposium.
