As a part of this year's ASLA Annual Meeting in San Diego, I will be presenting as a part of a panel discussion (with Boyd Coleman and Brian Phelps) on the use of #SocialMedia in Landscape Architecture (“Social Media Strategies for Landscape Architects”). During the course of the conference, we are attempting a crowdsourcing project, #LandArchSD, that we hope will show the potential of #SocialMedia to the profession. To help explain a little more about our effort, Boyd Coleman has also done a nice write-up on this effort in a separate post on his personal blog. Additionally, a companion Facebook page has been developed to share, collaborate and explain some of the tools of our effort. The Facebook page will also allow those not attending the conference to have an opportunity to follow along with some of happenings and goings-on in and around San Diego.
If you have a chance, check out some of the stuff we are up to and let us know what you think. If you will be in San Diego, let us know!
