Andrew, It looks like a spammer is blasting the forum with .... non landscape ....  type material. You might want to look into it.

Hello Andrew,

I want to thank you for all of your support for what we are doing. Hope we can speak soon and figure out another big post or some form of push to promote another big movement in our Indie gogo. We have lost some momentum due to our submissions to ASLA and need to bring people back in to gain back our initial momentum. Hope we can speak soon.

Hello Andrew;

I looked through the 2013 TOP 10 PORTFOLIOS.....All are great selections!  However, I'm VERY surprised that the Portfolio for JAMES RICHARDS here on LAND8 was not featured in that TOP 10.

I've been in this profession for over 35 yrs. now and I can honestly say, I have NEVER seen more outstanding sketches.  From where I'm sitting, James' sketches are just nothing less than "incredible".  I believe he even published a very good book on "hand sketching".

But, I do realize, there are so very many GREAT Portfolios to select from when trying to narrow the best down to just (10).

You did a great job with that feature of TOP Portfolios....well done!

Best Regards,

J. Robert (Bob) Wainner

Things are good down in Miami.  It's still hot and humid, but the beach is near and the drinks are cold! Will you be in Boston for the national conference?

Thanks Andrew! I just had to share it with like-minded people. We passed other questionable public works, such as this

Hey Andrew, it was great meeting you also! Thanks for the awesome coverage today on my Bronx Roofpark and our work at BASE. I enjoyed hearing about what your vision is with Land 8 and I'd love to talk to throw ideas around about this at some point soon. Let's stay in touch. All my best.

Hello Andrew;

Just saw your note on my LAND8 (inbox).  You have created a GREAT website here!

I've enjoyed interacting with other Landscape Architects....though, it seems like I sort of caused a little controversy with my discussion about "AutoCAD and Color Renderings".

Though I'm semi-retired, I still find time to design...and have no plans to ever fully retire.

Hey, interesting deal.  You and my Son (Scott Wainner) have some "common ground".  My Son is also a successful website designer.  He created 2 very successful websites (starting when he was in high school - approx. 19 yrs. ago.  He could have retired at the age of 21.  Scott turns 35 on June 23rd.  His main website is:  He lives and works in Silicon Valley.

Though I've lived in Texas most of my life.....I was actually born in Long, I have some California roots (my parents went to High School in Long Beach & were married there)....*smile*.

Thanks for providing this great Landscape Architecture Form for us to share our thoughts, comments and opinions.....I appreciate all the work you've put into LAND8.

Best Regards,

J. Robert (Bob) Wainner                                                              Plano, Texas
