Presenter: Daniel Tal

Air Date: March 5, 2013

Sponsored by:

Description:
Based on Daniel Tal’s upcoming book, Rendering in SketchUp (Wiley & Sons, March 2013), the one hour webinar provides a concise and detailed overview on how to generate a photorealistic vegetation rendering in SketchUp.

3D vegetation is easily available and useful for creating detailed presentation models in SketchUp. The webinar will demonstrate where to obtain 3D vegetation of good quality, optimized for performance and useful for photorealistic rendering. Daniel will show best practices for inserting and organizing 3D vegetation for maximum efficiency. The goal is to insure SketchUp users can create rich, detailed models while maintaining computer and software performance.

The webinar will demonstrate how Shaderlight and Twilight Render, two rendering programs that work within SketchUp, can render 3D vegetation. Each program provides unique options for rendering plants, including the ability to render large vegetated models like parks, packed shrub beds, open spaces and natural areas.
