Job Description

As a national online landscape design platform, scale, efficiency and an impeccable customer experience are mission critical to Tilly’s success! As a Design Operations Specialist, you will help develop and oversee core design processes, enhancing the remote team’s ability to deliver projects on-time and above customer expectations. Primary Responsibilities

  • Project Coordination: manage the designer assignment process, oversee and track project deadlines, provide organizational support to design team as needed

  • Reporting: build out regular reporting templates for leadership team and respond to ad hoc reporting requests as needed

  • Customer Support: through an online customer ticketing platform, respond to and manage customer inquiries all the way through to completion

  • Designer Onboarding: support new designer onboarding and account setup


  • 3-7 years of project management, team coordination, or related experience

  • A track record of reliability, organization and attention to detail

  • Ability to work as a key support player on a collaborative and engaged team, and also comfortable with the independence of a remote workplace

  • A growth mindset is needed as the role is likely to change quickly and often, must be willing and able to keep up with business growth and demand in this trending sector

  • A relentless focus on the customer experience, as well as design process improvement

  • Familiarity with project management tools and other business applications including Teamwork, Google Suite, Zendesk, Slack, etc.

The Tilly design team is led by Blythe Yost, Landscape Architect & CEO, who is also a co-founder of the company. Blythe has been practicing landscape architecture for over 15 years. She is the principal and founder of two high-end landscape companies, whose projects include everything from contemporary courtyards in Brooklyn to multi-acre estates in The Hamptons. Yost graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and a focus on horticulture. She lives in Rockland County, New York.
