Work Description:
We are looking for an honest, dependable, hard-working Landscape Architect or Designer for our residential and commercial install departments.

Work includes meeting potential clients and completing designs, generating proposals and cost estimates and handling administrative tasks for all jobs. The ability to manage multiple projects and activities is crucial to succeed in this position. Candidate will be presenting designs and selling landscape projects to prospective clients.

Conceptualize and sell a vision and solution to customers with landscape needs.
Provide landscape design services for various residential and commercial design/build projects.
Create cost estimates.
Supervise and manage design and construction projects from start to finish.
Review overall jobs with Project Manager and Supervisor in office as well as in the field.
Review daily progress and needs of the next day with the Supervisor and Project Manager as well as the next one to two weeks.
Always know the schedule of what needs to be done so that the job will continue to run as planned.
Ensures that work is being done in a safe and efficient manner and maintains excellent quality.

Experience with AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Word, and QuickBooks is preferred but not required.
Must have 1-5 years of experience as a Landscape Designer or Project Manager.
A degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, Horticulture or related field is a plus.
Fully developed design skills in hardscapes and softscapes.
Working knowledge of irrigation systems and knowledge of native plants in Northern Arizona is a plus but not required.

Desired Qualifications but not required:
Good understanding of landscape installation methods and techniques and the machinery, tools and labor needed to accomplish work.
Working knowledge of hardscape installation including, but not limited to, paver installation, retaining wall construction, drainage systems, and wood construction.
Demonstrate leadership skills and previous supervisory experience.
Must be able to read, interpret, and create landscape plans and specifications.
