Reversing climate change with native plant landscapes
Roland Oehme Landscape Architecture is seeking a part-time Intern to join our landscape studio immediately. We are looking for an amazing person to assist with all aspects of our projects, including surveying, design, production, and cost estimates. The ideal candidate will have an interest in reversing species extinction by creating native plant private gardens and landscapes. The candidate will be able to establish positive relationships with and ensure client satisfaction.
Assist principal with all aspects of a landscape architecture firm
Prepare project proposals and cost estimates
Develop budgets, contract negotiations, and tasks
Travel to project meetings and installation job sites
Nurture client relationships
Interest in designing native plant gardens
Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or working towards one
Proficient in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and hand drafting
Proficient in at least one design software program, e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign is desired
Learning how to design native plant gardens
Gaining experience running a landscape architecture office
