Hi Jennifer… thanks for the reply! What I did for my Portfolio at that time (late 2009) was a basic black spiral bound booklet, Letter size with not more than 15 pages, but a strong collection of my best work of each aspect of LA (planting design, construction documents, sketches, etc.). I also designed a color scheme and layout for the Portfolio which did grab attention from a few potential employers. This was more for the interview purpose (but was also light on the pdf-format)…

I agree, Nick, when you say that its a little dumb to comment on a student’s work, but I would say that it was 1 of the addiional comments that stuck with me, about which I wasn’t sure of how I could improve it. Hence the discussion. And thanks a ton for your valuable suggestions…

Jennifer, I did see your portfolio samples earlier in the other discussion and I thought they looked good. Are they the 1/3 cuts of 8.5×11 you mentioned ?
