<p>On the flip side, found a few very cool videos (from Vimeo, where my search fu is apparently stronger) related to landscape architecture that don&#8217;t manage to convey much info about the profession:</p>

<p>Hoping someone will have a clear recommendation for a video that explains &amp; inspires people about landscape architecture.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My key takeaway from the article was that LEED is too much of a checklist of <i>efforts</i>, not <i>accomplishments</i>. It doesn&#8217;t matter how many green materials or techniques you use if the building still isn&#8217;t energy efficient.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I&#8217;ve had <a href="http://www.amazon.com/Worldchanging-Users-Guide-21st-Century/dp/0810970856?tag=land8-20" rel="nofollow">World Changing</a> on my shelf since early last year, and it continues to provide inspiration. It&#8217;s a pretty massive tome, that manages to be both informative and actionable.</p>
