Well, yes and no.  The entire city was surveyed a few years ago and all the data was entered into a database.  Since then a lot has changed and maintenance of the database has been inconsistent.  So we have some data but know it is not exact – but better than nothing.

Yes.  We are estimating how many additional trees should / could be planted to achieve varying levels of environmental benefits.  We are using i-Tree to do these calculations.  Unfortunately, the amount of existing data is minimal so our number will be rough, but a start.

Yes, we will be advising our client on a total number of trees that would be desirable to plant to achieve the desired environmental benefits.  I believe what my client is after is some idea of how long it will take to achieve an optimal tree canopy.
