<p>Just wanted to see how many planners-turned-LAs there are. I know there is a significant amount of shared history and values, but the technical skill set of LAs set them apart. I&#8217;m considering doing the switch myself, and plan on slowly picking up the skills part-time. Are there many who have done this? Any advice?</p>

<p>I know a few LA/Planners. AICP is a cool credential to have behind your name, a good friend of mine (who is a planner) says it stands for &#8220;Any Idiot Can Plan&#8221;.</p>
<p>Planning is an interesting subject.
