Dear Group members,
In fact I am looking for some answers how to avoid negative influences of Urbanisation on trees (e.g. Rural or Agriculture lands were turned with commercial activities)
As I am new in this area probably my questions might be illogical: I request experts in this group to correct me to drive into right direction.
1. If trees were removed from 1 km radius (I don’t know average trees for a rural area?) can they be substituted still with current urban planning like road side tree development or allocating specified area to develop same number of trees as dense patches?
2. Is there any standard/calculation available as an example Urban plan which is named as best green city with average number of trees per 1 km radius.
3. Till date is there any automatic irrigation systems designed for Urban greenery for trees (e.g. Dip irrigation systems: my question is specific to trees here)
Many thanks for answering me.
Kind regards,
Rama.
