    Dear colleagues from colder countries,

Please could you advice on the following – we have over a hectare of new pressed gravel pathways (0-14mm size)in Lithuania (central Europe). Since it has little precedent of how these paths need to be maintained during the winter, I would like to ask experts from countries such as Switzerland or Norway, Sweeden, Finland to advice on how it is best to clear the snow from such paths. Lithuanian winters result in frequint freezing-thawing temperatures and often varied levels of snow (up to 1m).
We are thinking to use the snow-pressing technique to achieve a 5cm thickness pressed snow surface and spread the gravel on tom to create non-slipping surface so not to damage the gravel surface with mechanic showels.
I would be grateful for the advice.

    Regards
