Hi all,
I’m Lucy, a recent grad from the University of Maryland’s landscape architecture program. I just completed a 7-month internship at EDSA, saved up some money, and have since set off on an 8-month, solo, low-carbon adventure across North America using public transportation. Along the way, I plan to visit award-winning landscape architecture sites, pick apart the features of a successful city, and navigate the often scarce and confusing public transit web of a car-loving nation. I’m currently in Cleveland, OH and my one-month travel mark is coming up in a week.
Since I scoured land8lounge’s forum history during my planning stages to find places to visit (found some really great places from there), I wanted to share my blog to the forum too. I’ve also come across threads that call for a comprehensive landscape architecture map which have helped inspire my own version of a landscape architecture map. I hope you find it useful! And I could always use recommendations for landscape architecture sites too!
