Looking for contributions – Splashpad design

Good morning all!

My name is John Mejia and I work in the marketing department for Vortex Aquatic Structures International Inc. and we are looking to get contributions for our blog as well as feedback from designers regarding Splashpad design. 

Splashpads, also known as spray parks or spray grounds, are one of the most requested amenities in park and urban landscape design. 

As professionals in the industry, Vortex would like to have your insight on Splashpad design as well as any input you may have regarding accessibility, sustainability and overall impact that a Splashpad can have on your designs. 

Contributions can be in the form of:

• a description of your experience designing Splashpad, and if possible images of your completed project
• design considerations/requirements that a Splashpad was able to fulfill
• the future of Splashpad design – what would you like to see, what improvements could be made, what ideas do you have for design and sustainability?
