Rendering research/collaboration

I noticed that there is a strong resistance for LAs to use photo realistic renderings. However, aside from the cost, I believe that they can be really helpful specially when a lot of people need to get to a common decision.
So I would like to collaborate on a case study to show the benefits of realistic renderings, on real projects (preferably involving public spaces). If anyone is interested in collaborating (at no cost), let me know.
