Hi. Just joined the discussion and the section D seminar.
(1) How do I check out the 1st part of section D that I missed 6 hours ago?
(2) I’ve passed sections A and B. B on the first try and A on the second. I was able to take them because I received an AA in Landscape Architecture from Truckee Meadows Community College in Reno, NV in ’09. The program is recognized by the Nevada State Board (NSBLA). The program also has an ‘articulation’ with UNLV’s accredited undergrad program, but I am now in my 3rd quarter in Cal Poly Pomona’s MLA program and finishing the required construction series there this quarter. I also have an internship/mentorship relationship with a landscape architect in Lake Arrowhead, CA. I have read minutes from the LATC that talks about letting students start to take sections (especially multiple choice) before graduation. I’d like to take section D next September. That would leave the bears (C and E) for after I graduate with my accredited Masters in June 2013 ( I should have the requisite experience by then).
SO, any advice on how to approach LATC? Lobby them to take section D?
I have a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Analysis & Design from UCI and 48 semester units of grad school in City Planning at SDSU…..
