Many counties in Florida are facing a water demands that put the public at odds with big business. Several laws in Florida make it easy for water managers to provide water use permits even when the use is in direct contrast of the public opinion of where the water is being drawn from.
Protection of our groundwater supplies and prevention of over-pumping the aquifer is vital to the sustainability of natural systems throughout the state.
