Hi; I m new in this group. I m working in some projects in the Emirates, but our office is in beautiful Sicily, Italy. I decided to learn the arabic language. People told me that at least in UAE you don´t need to know the language for working there, but for me It is a matter of respect, I would like to know the culture from the country / region where I´m working. . I started learning arabic by myself: using some Multimedia programs: Rosetta Stone (it is great!), Talk now! (ok, but to simple) , for writting I found this curse in the website http://www.islamguiden.com (it really works, u can learn to write and read in 7 days, however I still don´t know what I reading or writting) two weeks ago I started having privat classes once a week, in order to practice conversation, some dialogs, etc, and bought an audio course for my Ipod .Anyway if anybody have some tips about how to learn arabic, (books, websites, etc) or about arabic culture Literature etc, A good website about arabic architecture . I would also like to get your opinion about what you consider to be the 10 best buildings or gardens in arabic / islamic architecture and why?
