Chartpak Marker Reccomendations

I’m about to make the switch from prismacolors to chartpaks but need to do it on a student budget.

 

So, for those out there who use chartpak, what are your favorite and most used markers? Least used?

Great list Henry! I would suggest getting a couple Willows…I used that color the most by far!

I use:

willow green for grass

grass, nile, and emarald green for trees

flesh blush and brick red for colorful trees

buff and a couple of diff warm grays for site elements

cool gray #5 for shadows

a blue for water

Then I have a bunch of pencils that I color over with.

I have a box of them somewhere, now its Adobe Illustrator, I do remember Willow and Brick Red

I switched to Copic Sketch Markers per Richard Scotts graphic workshops found at http://www.graphicsteacher.com

They have changed my coloring abilities forever and are awesome.  You should check them out sometime.
