this is an hour and a half, James Corner speaking at USC,and i must say, I really enjoyed it..

It almost got me to forgive what a jerk Corner was in graduate school..

But in the end, my point remains – he is not interested in the environment, does not have the courage to say NO, don’t design on the estuaries, doesn’t care about estuaries or the natural systems, and Ithink that is wrong..

McHarg told me that Corner is ruining his program!/

and yes, IMHO, the legacy of environmental design has been dropped. To our immense detriment and stupidity..

Still – really great to see an LA describe his huge design that got built, in a BIG way..
