Good article in NYT today on plans for rebuilidng Port Au Prince and Haiti – one ‘Urban Planner and adviser to UN ” (now THERE’S a job!) is recommending new urbanist which is being interpreted as scattered centers, someone else is saying densify the city. Somehow pleasant to think of planning for a single island with a single city on it.
