My uncle handed me these plans and told me to build this….
I’ve never built anything more complicated then a fence. This bocce ball court is on a slope, It wouldn’t be a problem if there wasn’t a slope I need to compensate for.
I wanted to just grade the whole damn site but he says if I do that it won’t drain properly. He also gave me a transit and told me to shoot it.
I don’t know how to even begin building this. D
oes anyone have any resources that could help me?December 28, 2016 at 10:06 pm #151105TimParticipantDecember 30, 2016 at 5:05 am #151104Jay S BurkeParticipantWith a precise plan available with you I would suggest seeking help of some backyard landscaping services who might help you in getting it done. The in-house design team of such landscape designers would be able to help you guide further. Have heard about a landscape designers solda pools who does landscape designing ( http://www.soldapools.com/solda-pools-design-and-build/ ). Do check with them. I don’t have much experience with them. Please update us on your progress.

Put stakes in the ground a few feet beyond your working area. Make sure you leave enough area above the surface because you’re going to have to tie a string around these stakes. Make sure they’re secure in the ground because you’re going to have to pull a string very tight between the stakes. The line should run over the top of where the perimeter of your play surface will be. Once you get the line pulled tight then put a line level on the lines to get it even all the way across. Take a marker and mark the string on the line so you’ll know where it sits on the stake. That should be the top of your boards or whatever you’re trying to do. I assume at this point, start digging to put the rest of it in the ground.

All you need to do is set your fencing evenly around the rough dimensions of 9 x 48. But, instead of carrying the fence line down the slope, you just make the fence line straight and even down to the ground. With the box made, you just fill inside of it to be level with the aggregate materials. Hard part will be to properly put the perforated pipe and filter fabric in the box.
